Cabinetmaking brings the art of woodworking together with the craft of functionality. Learn the basic parts of a cabinet, and how to assemble these into a custom design. Over six-weeks, we will learn about material selection and milling, design and assembly, and end with finishing and installation. The course will introduce you to a wide range of tools and processes, including dovetailed drawers and mortise-and-tenon doors, making it perfect for beginners looking to learn a number of processes, or those looking to refresh their skills in the shop. At the end of the course, leave with a cabinet of your own design and the knowledge to continue building.
