Cabinetmaking brings the art of woodworking together with the craft of functionality. Learn the basic parts of a cabinet, and how to assemble these into a custom design. Over six-weeks, we will learn about material selection and milling, design and assembly, and end with finishing and installation. The course will introduce you to a wide range of tools and processes, including dovetailed drawers and mortise-and-tenon doors, making it perfect for beginners looking to learn a number of processes, or those looking to refresh their skills in the shop. At the end of the course, leave with your handmade cabinet and the knowledge to continue building.
Closed-toe shoes are required.
