Darkroom Open Studio is an offering for artists who are very familiar with one or more processes in the Darkroom, such as developing film, printing photos, cyanotypes or solar-fast dying. This is a great option for self-sufficient artists looking to expand their black and white photography, or alternative process work and knowledge at their own pace.

You will be able to utilize the darkroom during our open studio hours, which is held 2 times weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM-1PM. You are welcome to use our equipment, and our house chemistry during our open studio hours, and we ask that you supply your own darkroom paper and film.

If you are new to using our darkroom and are not already GoggleWorks darkroom certified, a one time safety training fee of $75.00 is required at time of registration.  Reach out to the 2D Studio manager at acrawford@goggleworks.org to book a safety training and tour of the studio.  The Safety Training must be completed before users can work in the shop.
