Wiseman incorporates the decorative patterning of aged leather ledger covers into paintings that emerge from her subconscious, through ruminations on the design and history of her material, as well as her personal history and the history of women. |

The project, Mapping the Community: An Ecological Intervention involves turning recycled products into works of art. Jonas dos Santos has worked with various groups from the community to finalize the installation and performance. The project is funded by Artists & Communities, a highly competitive grant program from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.
